Waiting

We submitted our offer yesterday.

And we wait.

We were supposed to get an answer this afternoon, but our realtor said it will be tomorrow, so we wait some more. I'm not going to get any sleep tonight!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. The offer we put in is only $5000 below our maximum (because the market value of the house is much higher than that). So we may get a counter-offer that is more than we can do. I have to prepare myself for the idea that this may not be our house.

But I hope it is.

I've already started sketching out the room layouts. Do you think I'm getting too attached?

Hopefully my husband will reign me in (as he's researching goats to keep the property's land free of weeds). I think he may be more attached than me. Oh boy are we in trouble!
